The times of the Lace-Making Workshop with Mary White have changed sightly. The workshop will now take place from 10:00am - 12:30 pm instead of 1pm as advertised in brochure. This is a free event, which will take place in Cashel Library on Saturday 14th November.
A founding member of Rathkeevan ICA and still a very active member, Mary White has been making Carrickmacross lace for over forty years. Throughout the years she has made many wedding veils, Christening outfits, wall hangings, table centres, pictures and lots more in lace. During this two and a half hour demonstration Mary will go through the whole process from start to finish and you will have the opportunity to try each stage. So come along to watch Mary work and try stitching and cutting under her careful guidance.
