Féile Fidelma will take place in Cashel from Friday 9th until Sunday 11th September 2016. The venue for the sixth Féile Fidelma will be O’Brien’s Cashel Lodge which is nestled between the Rock of Cashel and the ancient Hore Abbey Monastery.
The provisional programme of events includes lectures and workshops by Peter Tremayne, Dr Kate Quinn (N.U.I.G), Seán Laffey, Dr Patrick Gleeson (N.U.I.G), Dr Kevin Murray (U.C.C) and David R. Wooten and also an excursion to Knockgraffon- An artificial mound constructed for defensive purposes with a structure on top called a Bailey, which has since disappeared. Of course the gala dinner will also be an event not to be missed.
Registration fee of €170 includes the welcome pack with the special souvenir booklet produced by the International Sr Fidelma Society, the opening reception, all lectures and workshops, trip to Knockgraffon on Saturday, the Gala Dinner, tea/coffee & scones at breaks.
