Cashel Arts Festival is inviting secondary school choirs and their directors to join Edward Craig, Director of award winning Grosvenor Choir, for a morning of song, networking and sharing music. We are delighted to offer this wonderful opportunity, under Edward Craig’s expert guidance, to sing with others, learn new techniques and have fun along the way – it is sure to be a masterclass to remember.
Edward Craig, whose name has become synonymous with choral music in Northern Ireland, hails from Saintfield in County Down. Forming his first choir while still at school he is now Head of Music at Carrickfergus Grammar School who have won the RTÉ Choir for Christmas title on four occasions and who this year was Runner Up in the BBC Radio Ulster School Choir of the Year. With his adult choir, Grosvenor Chorale, he continues to strive for the highest standards, last year being runner up in the National Choir of the Year at Navan Festival and has recently been successful at reaching the Final stage of the UK National Choir of the Year.
