An Afternoon of Entertainment on the Plaza

12 pm – Sunday Morning Singers
Formed in 2017, and conducted by Helen Colbert, the choir were multiple prize winners at the 2022 AIMS Choral Festival in New Ross.

12.45 pm – Indian Dance Performance
Performing artist Subhashini Goda from India will showcase Bharatanatyam, an intricate Indian classical dance form that is a heady mix of complex rhythms and intricate storytelling.

1.30 pm – Cashel Comhaltas Singers
Members and friends of Cashel’s Comhaltas Singers present a session of popular traditional songs in English and Irish. Please join in and sing along.

2.15 pm – Latvian Dancing – Karbunklis Dancers
“KARBUNKULIS’” is a Latvian folk dance group which represents Latvian culture in Ireland.

3 pm – Lady Desart Choir
A community contemporary choir based in Kilkenny with over 70 members aged between 20 and 82 years old. Since forming in 2017, the Choir has enjoyed great success, regularly participating in local high-profile events.

4 pm – The Wigwam Glam Band
Come and celebrate 20th Cashel Arts Festival with Cashel’s own – the best and most exciting Glam Rock and 70’s Disco band in Ireland! With more hair, makeup and glamorous costumes than Lady Gaga’s dressing room, The Wig Wam Glam Band put on the best visual and rock’n music show around!
