Sculpture Making with Philip Quinn

Enjoy a hands-on workshop with Philip Quinn of Stone Mad, Holycross, the well-known master craftsman who created the sculptures on the approach roads to Cashel and worked with schools and community groups to make the models for this year’s festival art trail. The workshops are suitable for adults or a small family group with children (+8 years).

Using papier maché, Plaster of Paris, and hessian, mould faces from Cashel’s medieval past to make individual masks, suitable as a wall hanging or other decorative use. Some finishing at home needed.
