Directed by Paige Dashner Long\, this exceptional ensemble of 95 highly trained flautists performs across an extraordinary seven octaves\, from piccolo to rare contra flutes\, creating a truly immersive musical experience. \nThe programme celebrates both the heartbeat of Ireland and the artistry of contemporary composers\, featuring works by Stanford\, Giacchino\, Long\, Cohen and more. His new songs are built on storytelling and rich melodies\, reflecting on the roads travelled\, the people met\, and the memories that have stayed with him. \nThe album features heartfelt pieces such as “Another Road”\, a song about finding your way back to what you love\, and “This Road I Ride”\, inspired by years of touring across America. At its emotional core is “For Sheila”\, a moving tribute to his late mother\, celebrating a shared life filled with music and fond memories.  \nThis launch performance is a particularly meaningful one\, taking place close to home and within a festival that has long been part of Pat’s musical life. Originally from Denmark\, the band gained international attention through their spontaneous street performances\, particularly in New York City. Their live performances are a whirlwind of infectious rhythms\, powerful vocals\, and tight harmonies. The band’s ability to connect with audiences through their passionate and unfiltered performances makes each show a unique experience\, filled with an authentic\, heartfelt energy that resonates deeply with listeners. \nBuy Tickets €24\n\nSupported by MacHenry and The Dog Roses \n\nMacHenry and The Dog Roses’- a 3-piece folk band hailing from Tooreen in Mayo. Consisting of Ethan Henry (guitar & vocals) and sisters Elizabeth (harp & piano) and Victoria (violin) Burcovschi. They got their first big break when they won the ‘Night and Day’ song competition in 2024\, and from there\, they have perfected their own unique sound. Touching on many different topics through their music\, like dementia and wars\, the band released their debut album ‘After The Rain’ in March 2026.
