Discover how Greek and local cultures blended to create vibrant and diverse societies\, and uncover the archaeological discoveries\, inscriptions\, and monuments that continue to reveal their stories today. \nJoin historian Shane Wallace as he traces the rise and fall of these forgotten kingdoms and examines what they can tell us about identity\, migration\, and cultural exchange in the ancient world. \nAbout the speaker \nShane Wallace is the Walsh Family Assistant Professor in Classics and Ancient History at Trinity College Dublin. His research focuses on the age of Alexander the Great and the Hellenistic world\, with particular interest in the cultural and political history of the Greek kingdoms that emerged across Central and South Asia.
