This book includes Gravestone Inscriptions from the Cathedral Church of St. John the Baptist and St. Patrick’s Rock; The Parish Church of St. John the Baptist; The Presentation Convent, St. Francis Abbey, Cashel.

Prepared at intervals over a period of four years it contains more than a thousand inscriptions from headstones, flat slabs, altar tombs, memorial tablets and wall plaques, as well as a history of the sites in question, photographs and drawings. The book launch will be dedicated to all those men, women and children who made these historic sites their last resting place; To those who carved and erected the headstones which preserve the memory of the deceased; To the multitudes resting in unmarked graves.
