Mary Nugent

Mary Nugent is a Tipperary born music-lover who has honed her singer/songwriter skills over many years. Mary was most recently involved with the well-regarded, six-piece alternative folk band ‘The Cedartowns’, for whom she wrote and co-wrote much of the band’s repertoire. Performing for the festival with her sister Michele on harmony, along with diverse, guitar driven accompaniment from Seamus Hayes and Andrew Kennedy, the original, rhythmic and lyrical tracks will stay with you long after you leave.
