About the speaker

Shane Wallace is the Walsh Family Assistant Professor in Classics and Ancient History at Trinity College Dublin. His research focuses on the age of Alexander the Great and the Hellenistic world, with particular interest in the cultural and political history of the Greek kingdoms that emerged across Central and South Asia.
