Castle String Quartet

Castle String Quartet are a diverse group of string players based in Dublin, and consists of Katie O’Connor (violin), Aoife Ní Dhornáin (violin/ viola), Úna O’Kane (violin/ viola) and Paula Hughes (cello).

Individually they work regularly with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra, Ulster Orchestra and the Wexford Opera Festival Orchestra. No strangers to the contemporary Irish music scene, they have worked with many artists including U2, The Frames, The Corrs and Glen Hansard.

Internationally they have performed with Micheal Bublé, Puff Daddy, Josh Groban, Kanye West, and the Three Irish Tenors, touring across the globe in some of the world’s most prestigious concert venues such as The Royal Albert Hall, Sydney Opera House and Carnegie Hall.

Now, we are delighted to welcome Castle String Quartet to Cashel to preform music from Netflix period drama, Bridgerton, by candlelight in the intimate setting of St. John’s Cathedral.
