Food & Entertainment on the Plaza

Join us for a day of fun, entertainment and local food trucks on The Plaza. This is sure to be a great day out for all.

Entertainment Line-Up:

12pm: The Music Department of Cashel Community School featuring bands, musicians and soloists.

1.30pm – 1.50pm: Dr. O’Hurley Pipe Band
Founded in 1935, the Dr. O’Hurley Pipe Band performs at several cultural and social events throughout Tipperary and surrounding areas. They are always a popular addition to our festival.

2pm: James Murphy
James Murphy hails from Boherlahan and has been playing guitar since the age of 12. We look forward to having him as part of this year’s festival.

2.30pm: TBC

3pm: Mary Nugent
Mary Nugent is a Tipperary born music-lover who has honed her singer/songwriter skills over many years. Mary was most recently involved with the well-regarded, six-piece alternative folk band ‘The Cedartowns’, for whom she wrote and co-wrote much of the band’s repertoire. Performing for the festival with her sister Michele on harmony, along with diverse, guitar-driven accompaniment from Seamus Hayes and Andrew Kennedy, the original, rhythmic and lyrical tracks will stay with you long after you leave.
