Introduction / Réamhrá

The theme for the festival this year is ‘Reflections’. The arts are a personal reflection of ourselves – what we put into them influences what we take out of them. A painting, play or song can have different and equally valid meanings that change, evolve and grow in response to mood, time, place or whim. Our programme this year provides a palette of colour and creativity with representatives from the various branches of the arts and which the committee hopes will suggest, shape and cement a set of positive reflections to carry us through the long winter months. The festival promises, as always, to provide a rich weekend of culture and fun and we look forward to seeing you there.
