Jill & Jane – Harp and Fiddle

Jill Devlin, Roscommon, and Jane Meehan, Louth, are recent graduates of the Masters in Irish Traditional Music Performance program in the University of Limerick. From a young age, Jill and Jane have played harp and fiddle respectively, and share a common interest in composition, arrangement, and musical styles.

They met in autumn 2020, at the start of their masters program, and soon became inseparable when it came to playing music. Their set ranges from traditional to newly composed tunes to which they add their own personal touch through arrangement and harmony to create a unique sound. In April of this year, they released their first single, Annie’s Favourite.
