Artist Brianna Hurley

Artistic career began in KCAT in 2014 and she joined The KCAT  Studio  Group in  2018 where she continues to develop her practices and love of painting and drawing. Brianna takes inspiration from her travels in Spain, architecture, and her love of playing basketball.

In recent times,  Brianna has completed a large series of paintings on canvas, developing  the Castalia  Story painting by painting. The images with dramatic  landscape  of this new world  feature strongly in her recently published graphic novel The Story of Castalia, Brianna also has a passion for the power of Tornadoes which features prominently in her work. Two of these works are in the national collection/Crawford Gallery.
